The City of Allentown’s 4th of July Celebration is an event you do not want to miss! Inside J. Birney Crum Stadium is a festival featuring live music, family friendly entertainment, and a rousing fireworks show.
The Celebration is a free event open to the public.

Come for a day of Great Food, Helicopter Rides, Hot Air Balloons, Obstacle Courses, Kids Games, a 70 Foot Slip & Slide, and so much more! This year they have added Zip Lining, Axe Throwing, and Mechanical Bull Riding! To end the night, there will be a spectacular 30-minute firework display! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and don’t forget your towels for that crazy slip and slide!

Although it is outside the Lehigh Valley, Reading Public Museum is presenting a Sensory Friendly Firework Display as an alternative for families at the Neag Planetarium. It will be an indoor display under the planetarium dome along with patriotic music and a craft. You do need to register for this event though, so make sure you check it out.
