CSLP is thrilled to announce your 2025 Summer Reading Program theme: “Color Our World”!  For 2025, we invite you to embark on a journey of art and creativity, celebrating the myriad ways in which art enriches our lives. Our program is designed to inspire and engage readers of all ages through a diverse array of artistic expressions.”- From the CSLP website

Below you will find a list of Lehigh Valley libraries and information on their programs this summer. Make sure to check with the library you plan to visit as each of them have different requirements for the program. Happy reading!

Allentown Public
June 7-Aug 9
Open to all- no card/address requirement

Bethlehem Area
June 2-July 26
Have to live in Bethlehem ages 3-18, card is recommended

Emmaus
June 9- August 16
Open to all- no card/address requirement
Pre-Readers and Elementary are asked to read (or be read to) for ten hours over the course of the summer for incentives such as Journey beads for each hour, a free book to keep, and prizes at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 hours!
Teens read for scratch tickets for small, and larger prizes throughout the summer.  2 tickets for every 2 hours, and a free book upon sign up!
Adults receive a free book upon sign up, and can write reviews, take part in Library SRC Bingo, and other fun library events!

Parkland Community
June 14-August 9
Everyone is welcome to join PCL’s summer reading club! However, raffle prizes are reserved for residents of the Parkland School District and nonresidents who purchase an LCLC library card.
June is here, meaning it’s time to dive into all PCL’s exciting programs and events! Summer Reading is just around the corner, starting on June 14. Get ready to conquer your TBR pile with the ultimate incentive program. Log your reading, participate in library activities, and earn prizes to keep your motivation high. Remember to sign up or log in to your Beanstack account on June 14 to get started on your summer reading journey.
From June 7 to August 29, get ready to Color Your World by exploring local libraries and completing fun activities to earn stickers for your color wheel. Collect raffle tickets from participating libraries for the local prize. Visiting six or more locations gives you a chance to win the grand prize.

Easton Area Public

Get ready for a vibrant and exciting summer at the Easton Area Public Library! Our theme this year is COLOR OUR WORLD, and we’re excited to bring a whole lot of creativity to your summer. Readers of all ages are invited to join in the fun! Summer Reading 2025 begins June 16 and ends August 16. Visit the library, read books, and earn prizes. Children can earn their Summer Reading t-shirt. Teens and adults have the opportunity to win gift cards from local businesses. Registration for Summer Reading 2025 opens on June 16.

Join us as we kick off the season on June 16 with our opening program CIRCUS OF COLOR, featuring Grins and Grins and other surprises. We will celebrate the theme with an explosion of color and joy. Other programs planned for the summer include a visit from our animal friends, color-your-own t-shirts, raffles for local prizes, reading the rainbow, and a Food Truck Lawn Party for our summer finale. Whether you’re interested in art, sewing, coding, gaming, or just hanging out with other kids, the Library has something for everybody this Summer! For a list of all our summer programs for all ages, visit our calendar.

Join us in kicking off the new summer theme: COLOR OUR WORLD! We’ll explore the wonderful world of colors with a variety of activities and crafts! We’ll also have a mini-art show available for patrons to participate in–all supplies provided while they last. This is a great day to sign up for our Summer Reading Program!

This is intended as a drop-in program and no registration is required. The program will be in both the Children’s Programming room and the Multi-Purpose Room. All ages are welcome. SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED and are in a first-come first-served basis. This program will last two-hours but supplies may not last the full timeframe.

You can also participate in our Reading Challenge to set goals, earn prizes and have fun!

Memorial Library of Nazareth

This summer, children ages 2-12 with MLNV library cards are invited to take part in Color Our World Summer Reading 2025. This seven-week program will feature an array of hands-on arts activities and an exciting reading challenge. Children can draw, paint, sculpt, build, and of course, read, all summer long at the library. Each child who signs up will receive a summer reading activity packet. They can keep track of their activities and reading with this packet and earn Wild Bucks that can be spent on fun prizes at Wild Mart. Get ready for a colorful summer at the MLNV!

Whitehall Township
June 16-Aug 2
No card required for participation- all events (except drop ins) require registration
Kids (1 – 6 Years Old)
Increments: Every 3 books
Limit: 30 prizes (which is from reading 90 books)
Prize: A book from the book cart -OR- a prize from the prize wheel
Prizes Awarded: Kids have until August 2 to log books and spin the prize wheel.
Participation Bag: Each child will also earn a prize bag after logging at least 15 books. These bags will be ready starting at the Kids’ Finale on August 9, but you don’t have to be present to win.
Youth (7 – 17 Years Old)
Increments: Every 100 pages
Limit: 30 prizes (which is from reading 3,000 pages)
Prize: A book from the book cart -OR- a ticket for a showcase prize -OR- a prize from the prize wheel (kid’s choice)
Prizes Awarded: Kids have until August 2 to log books and pick up smaller prizes. If you win a showcase prize, you can pick it up starting at the Kids’ Finale on August 9, but you don’t have to be present to win. (Winners will be notified before the finale.)
Adults (18 Years Old and Up)
Reading Prizes:
Increments: Every book
Limit: None
Prize: An entry for the grand prize drawing
Grand Prize Awarded: Your name will be entered automatically when you submit books (either on paper or online). We’ll draw names, and prizes will be ready starting at the Adult Finale on August 7. Adults don’t have to be present to win.
Bingo Card: Adults can pick up a bingo sheet from the front desk. If you get a bingo, you can pick a small prize from a bin. Anyone who marks off everything on the card will also get another entry for the grand prize. You have until August 2 to log books and collect small prizes.

We’re excited to have you here with us at your Northampton Area Public Library. Summer Quest isn’t just for kids. We have plenty of activities for teens and adults of all ages too! Thursday, July 31st, 6:30 PM: Mike Familant is bringing his Do You Believe Tour to the library! What’s Mike’s tour about? Well, if it’s Sasquatch, he’s seen it, and he has images, stories, and more to show us! Registration is limited to 30 people, so please be sure to secure your spot!
Thursday, August 7th, 6:00 PM at Municipal Park Pavilion A: It’s a special time for us this August; we’re celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the library! Join us at the park for S’mores ‘n’ More! Each registered participant is guaranteed at least one s’more to devour while we play improv games, tell spooky and interesting stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
