With 11 themed weeks of summer camp, daily outdoor play, exciting field trips, and a unique focus on leadership and life skills, Active Learning Centers provides one of the most well-rounded kids summer camp programs in the Lehigh Valley.
A Summer Camp Designed for Active Kids At Active Learning Centers, campers spend the majority of their day outside participating in hands-on games, group challenges, and creative activities that encourage independence, confidence, and teamwork. Introduce your child to the wonders of art this summer at the Allentown Art Museum!
Making with the Masters is a week-long Museum experience for creative students ages 7–11. Campers will learn about iconic artists such as Rembrandt, Henry Ossawa Tanner, and Faith Ringgold by viewing their works in person in our galleries, then head to the studio to experiment with techniques and materials inspired by these masters. Each day, campers will take home new supplies in their own Studio Kit to continue creating at home. On Fridays, campers will curate an exhibition featuring the artworks they created throughout the week. Parents and loved ones are invited to a celebratory reception from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the Museum’s Art Ways Interactive Family Gallery.

TKSLV Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which kids celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful silicone “TactixBands,” funny short movies, and chess clock tourneys! The BGLV/PYB Summer Dance Program consists of classes for ages three thru adult, including a Pre-Professional day intensive Monday thru Friday for serious students ages 9 & up.
The Pre-Professional Day Intensive will be held the mornings Monday through Friday from June 22 through July 31. Choose one week, two weeks, or more to fit with your schedule. Classes include Progressing Ballet Technique in addition to ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater. Throughout the Summer Dance Program, guest master teachers are invited to teach our students.
The Community Class Program for ages three through adult will be held on a Tuesday or Thursday evening during the six-week time period listed above. The youngest students begin with an introduction to the basics of ballet; these include rhythm, dynamics, and terminology. Youth level classes are available for the student who wishes to learn ballet or improve his/her technique. Ballet for Boys classes are free and are offered for males ages 6 – 17 and introduce students to the structure and discipline of a ballet class while building music awareness and learning basic ballet terminology. Conditioning and gross motor movement skills are included. Adult/Teen classes are offered for the intermediate and advanced level dance students who have a basic knowledge of dance terminology.

St. Luke’s SportsPlex is a state of the art, 75,000+ sq. ft. athletic facility designed for athletes of all ages. It features NBA quality hardwood courts, indoor turf space, and extensive indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, along with dedicated areas for team practices, performance training, and community programming. The facility supports a wide range of sports—including basketball, volleyball, soccer, golf, football, and more—and offers expert led training, camps, clinics, and rental space for groups and organizations.
Our 2026 Summer Camp lineup offers a variety of sport specific and multi sport camps and clinics created to help young athletes build skills, stay active, and have fun. Camps and Clinics age ranges vary by program, but most fall within ages 5–14.
