Sundays are for Farmer’s Markets and Parks when in Hellertown. Across the street from the Saucon Valley Farmer’s Market is our favorite place to enjoy a tasty treat as we walk the path, Morris J. Dimmick Park.
This park is 18.5 acres and includes 5 baseball fields and a multipurpose field. It is home to the Dewey Fire Company Carnival, Music in the Park series, and of course, the Hellertown Lower Saucon Community Day.
While all this is amazing, the pièce de résistance for my kids is the playground itself with massive slide and rope climb to get to the top. There is the spider web rope climb and of course a tot area with smaller slide for the little ones. Included in the fenced in area at this amazing Lehigh Valley Park are also swings and some amazing bridges to get from point a to b.
This is one of our favorites and a must visit Lehigh Valley Park.
