It started with emails. She collaborated on clothing we should wear and how our hair would look best. She took the time to review photos of shirt and dress options. She gave a sweet yet honest opinion of every detail right now to a little curl in my hair. Right from the start, she made sure we were prepared for our memories to be captured.

We planned an outdoor session but the rain had other plans and our choice to wear white but having a muddy trek would not be practical. That morning, Niki shifted gears and we ended up at her studio in Easton. She had everything set up and ready to go for us despite the change in location.

She got to know my kids. She remembered their names, asked them about their likes and dislikes, and told them about her kids. She got them to loosen up and enjoy the experience while she posed and positioned them for their pictures.

She let them be goofy and crazy! She is patient and understands children. Being a mom herself, Niki was comfortable and capable when it came to them becoming a little impatient at times.

She stopped to adjust hand placement, strands of hair, and other small details before taking each picture. Her perfectionism was absolutely appreciated!

When our session was over, she talked and recommended a great ice cream place we could stop at on our way out.
